After graduating from law school in 1998, April Payne worked for the divorce and family law judge, Susan Laker Tolbert, at the Hamilton County, Ohio Domestic Relations Court in Cincinnati for nearly two years. As an attorney working for Judge Tolbert, Ms. Payne gained extensive invaluable experience in Cincinnati divorce and family law legal matters.
April Payne has been a private practice attorney concentrating exclusively in the areas of divorce and family law since her departure from the Domestic Relations Court in September 2000. In addition, Ms. Payne is trained in collaborative law and divorce mediation. In 2007, Ms. Payne fulfilled her professional goal of opening her own divorce and family law practice.
